A day at a school for youth (age 12 to 22) with mental and physical disability. We got a tour at the property (which is like 100 acres big, they have horses, fields, gym, a swimming pool etc etc..) and then got to interact with some students. I had a really good time and I felt really good being there. I compared it to a home similar to this one that we visited in Taiwan. That home was so different. The conditions for the students/patients were incredibly bad compared to this. At this hospital school (that it is called) the students actually have a life. They have friends, tons of activities going on (a radio station, pc- and video games, horseback riding, swimming, movie night, art classes etc) and work to do. It had a good impact on me and I hope I impacted some people too. We had a small back track show for the students at the end of the day and it was really appreciated.

I’ve now had two big cups of tea (it’s colder here then I expected and I’ve been really cold today) and it is time for me to go to bed. Tomorrow is a really cozy day. It is internal, and we’re told to bring PJ’s and pillow.. I think it’s some kind of movie time going on. Whatever it is, I like it.
